1. Website use and acceptance

These terms govern sherrytransfer.com and transfer bookings with Sherry Transfer. Browsing does not commit you to a booking. Before continuing to payment, you must expressly accept these terms, which you can print or save. A customer account is not required.

Service-specific terms may be agreed and will be provided before booking. No clause limits mandatory consumer or transport rights.

2. Services and area

Sherry Transfer arranges private transfers from its base in Jerez de la Frontera, particularly in Cádiz, Seville, Málaga and southern Andalusia. Other destinations, tours and special services require a prior quote. Services use authorised vehicles and drivers, either our own or transport partners, according to the service and applicable rules.

Pickups at stations, ports, airports and other municipalities depend on relevant authorisations and access rules. The website does not grant an exemption from legal pickup requirements.

3. Details and booking process

Enter the pickup, destination, date, time, passengers, vehicle and contact details, and any relevant flight, luggage or child-seat requirements. Information must be accurate, current and complete; you must be authorised to book for others.

The website calculates the route and price and allows corrections before payment. Online bookings require at least 12 hours’ notice. For shorter notice or routes requiring personal assistance, contact us by WhatsApp or email; an enquiry does not guarantee availability.

Choose Spanish, English or German with the language selector. We retain the booking and the version and language of the accepted terms. Your confirmation includes a copy; use the booking reference to request contract information.

4. Confirmation and changes

Online bookings are confirmed once payment is completed and verified. A pending request or failed payment is not a confirmed booking. Confirmation appears on screen and is emailed; check your spam folder. Contact us if payment appears completed without confirmation.

Keep the reference and check your details. Report errors or changes to reservas@sherrytransfer.com, replying to your confirmation, preferably at least 24 hours ahead. Later requests depend on availability. Changes only take effect when we expressly confirm them, including any new price.

A missing printed copy alone does not prevent service if we can verify the booking. The pictured model may be replaced with one of equivalent category and capacity; colours and markings may differ.

5. Prices, taxes and payment

The price shown before payment is per vehicle and selected route, not per passenger, and includes applicable VAT, currently 10%. Each leg is calculated separately using distance, vehicle and current rates, with the minimum and rounding displayed during booking. Applicable regulated fare rules remain binding.

Declared luggage that safely fits is included. Tolls on the quoted route are included. Paid parking, stops, alternative routes and additional services not included must be quoted and accepted before additional costs arise. No undisclosed, unaccepted surcharge is imposed.

Online payment uses the methods available through Stripe. We add no card-payment fee to website bookings. If rates change before payment is prepared, review the revised amount before proceeding; later tariff changes do not alter a contracted price.

A payment receipt does not necessarily replace an invoice. Request an invoice with your booking reference and tax details, without prejudice to statutory invoicing obligations.

6. Pickups and waiting time

Arrive at the confirmed place and time. Times use mainland Spanish time (Europe/Madrid) unless expressly stated otherwise. Provide a working telephone and tell us promptly about delays.

Included waiting runs from the confirmed pickup time: up to 60 minutes at airports, 30 minutes at seaports and 10 minutes at railway stations, hotels and other locations, unless different terms were communicated before booking. Provide flight or train details to help coordination. Delays do not automatically change the confirmed time; contact us to agree an adjustment.

Request an extension before included waiting ends. It depends on availability and a supplementary price informed and accepted in advance, within applicable fares.

If the driver is not at the meeting point, call +34 692 187 156 so we can help. There is no liability-free delay allowance or loss of rights for failing to call within a particular time.

7. Destination, stops and connections

The destination and stops are those confirmed. Ask for availability and a quote before adding stops, taking another route or changing the destination. Price and timing may change with your agreement.

Journey times are estimates affected by traffic, weather and incidents. Allow sufficient time for check-in, security and boarding. We can help plan your pickup; this does not exclude statutory liability for service failures.

8. Meeting points and parking

Your confirmation and operational messages identify the meeting point. Unless instructed otherwise: the authorised arrivals point communicated by the driver at airports; the specified authorised point at stations and ports; reception or the entrance at hotels; and the door or nearest permitted place at private addresses.

Traffic, access and parking rules apply. If works, events, restrictions or road layout prevent access, we will communicate a nearby safe alternative using your booking contact details.

9. Passengers, luggage and animals

Current website capacities exclude the driver: sedan up to 3, MPV up to 4 and minivan up to 8 passengers. Children count as passengers. Declare luggage, pushchairs, sports equipment and oversized items so a suitable vehicle can be arranged; luggage capacity is not identical across categories.

Luggage must be safely placed and secured in the permitted space. Dangerous substances and prohibited articles are not accepted. Declare pets in advance to confirm admission and appropriate road-transport restraint or carrier. Applicable assistance-dog access rights are respected.

Do not exceed authorised capacity. We will seek a safe solution to discrepancies, disclose the cost of alternatives where available and consider responsibility for the incident. Liability for lost or damaged luggage is determined by law, not excluded wholesale.

10. Children and restraints

State the number of children and required baby seats, child seats or boosters when booking. We may ask for age and height to arrange suitable restraints. Requested and confirmed systems are supplied without additional charge for services covered by these terms.

A journey will not take place without legally required safety systems. If information is missing or incorrect, we will seek an available suitable alternative; financial consequences depend on the service, cause and statutory rights rather than an automatic penalty.

11. Cancellations and refunds

Email reservas@sherrytransfer.com with the booking reference to cancel; for urgent notice, also call or use WhatsApp. Notice is measured from receipt of your message to the affected leg’s pickup time, not when we later process it. Keep evidence of your message.

Voluntary cancellation at least 12 hours before pickup: a 95% refund of the cancelled leg, retaining 5% as an administration charge.

Voluntary cancellation less than 12 hours before pickup: a 50% charge and a 50% refund of the cancelled leg. The 5% administration charge is not added to this charge.

For return bookings, each cancelled leg is assessed separately; cancelling one leg does not refund another already provided. If we cancel or cannot provide a service for a reason attributable to us, the unused part is refunded in full without the 5% deduction, without prejudice to other statutory rights.

Refunds are initiated to the original payment method within 7–10 working days after receipt of a valid request, subject to any shorter legal deadline. Actual crediting may depend on the payment provider. Statutory refund rights are unaffected.

Passenger transport contracts have a specific legal regime; this commercial cancellation policy is not a general 14-day withdrawal right.

12. No-shows, incidents and force majeure

If a passenger fails to attend, we will attempt to contact the provided telephone number. After included waiting expires without contact or an agreed extension, the unused leg may be closed as a no-show with a 100% charge, unless the cause is attributable to the provider or statutory rights require another outcome. One missed call alone does not automatically trigger this charge.

Service may be refused or interrupted for invalid payment, legal impossibility or a real safety, capacity or essential-information problem. We will seek an alternative and explain the reason and financial consequences; not every error automatically forfeits the full payment.

For accidents, extreme conditions, road closures or other unavoidable events, we will inform you and seek a reasonable solution. Refunds for unused service are assessed under the contract and law, without a blanket exclusion of liability or compensation.

13. Conduct and customer responsibilities

Check your confirmation, communicate changes, follow safety instructions and supply necessary information. Smoking is prohibited. Access may be refused or the journey safely stopped where violence or intoxication creates a risk to the driver or passengers.

Liability for damage caused by customers or other passengers is assessed under the law and evidence. The booking holder is not automatically liable for every act of another person.

14. Updated terms and contract records

Terms and fares may be updated for future contracts. Existing bookings retain the accepted version and price unless a change is expressly agreed or legally required. Your confirmation email contains a copy of the accepted terms; keep it.

Personal data processing is explained in the privacy policy. Accepting the contract does not constitute marketing consent.

15. Severability

If a clause is invalid or unenforceable, applicable law governs and the remainder continues where the contract can survive. An unfair clause will not be replaced with one preserving its harmful effects on the consumer.

16. Complaints, law and jurisdiction

Complain using info@sherrytransfer.com, reservas@sherrytransfer.com or the owner’s telephone or address. Official complaint forms are available under Andalusian rules. You may approach competent consumer or transport authorities and applicable mediation or arbitration routes; we do not claim unverified scheme membership.

Spanish law and applicable EU and transport law govern. Courts are determined by law, respecting mandatory consumer jurisdiction.

The former EU ODR platform closed on 20 July 2025 and is not offered as an active channel. Current consumer dispute-resolution routes are available from the European Commission.
