1. Introduction

This policy describes cookies and similar technologies on sherrytransfer.com, owned by Manuel Ortega Sánchez, trading as Sherry Transfer. It complements the privacy policy and covers implemented first-party storage and external services.

2. Cookies and browser storage

A cookie is a small file stored by your browser when you visit a site and which may be sent back to it. Session storage (sessionStorage) keeps information for a tab and is not automatically sent with each request like a cookie. Both may retain information needed for the service.

Closing a tab normally ends its session storage. Browser session-restoration features may restore it; you can explicitly remove site data in browser settings.

3. Scripts and web beacons

Scripts are code enabling features such as address search, route calculation or form validation. Beacons or pixels are resources that can measure access or tracking. A script or image alone does not mean a cookie is stored.

Sherry Transfer currently includes no first-party advertising pixels or behavioural tracking tools. External resources are described in section 6.

4. Categories used

Identified first-party storage is technical and functional: retaining a requested booking and form details during language changes and authenticating the administrator. Strictly necessary purposes for the service requested are exempt from cookie consent under Article 22(2) of Spain’s LSSI.

The website currently includes no Google Analytics or first-party behavioural advertising tools.

5. First-party cookies and storage

The entries below are used when you access the corresponding function; not all are created by visiting an information page. Booking drafts may contain the travel and contact details you enter. The administration cookie contains a session identifier, not the administrator’s password.

Language is represented by the page URL. The selector does not itself create a persistent language cookie.

6. Third-party services

Google Maps Platform provides address search and route calculation. Reviews are retrieved through our server and may display external Google resources, such as reviewer images. Loading resources or using search may disclose technical information to Google, including IP address, browser and requests. Google explains possible cookies, technologies and controls in the linked documentation.

Stripe Checkout opens when you continue to payment; its cookies and security measures apply in its own environment. No Stripe card form is embedded in these website pages. WhatsApp opens when you choose its links and applies its own terms.

Third-party cookies and durations depend on the service and environment. Provider documents describe their catalogue; this does not mean every listed cookie is installed on sherrytransfer.com. Their policies explain cookie names, purposes, duration and controls.

7. Consent and preferences

Browsing, silence or accepting booking terms is not consent to advertising or analytics cookies. Booking and sign-in features use the technical storage described in this policy.

First-party storage is limited to requested functions. If we introduce non-exempt technologies requiring consent, we will inform you and offer acceptance, rejection or configuration before activation, with an equally easy withdrawal option. External-service controls are available through their links and your browser.

8. Blocking and deletion

Browser privacy settings let you inspect, block and delete cookies and site data and manage third-party cookies. Signing out removes the administration cookie. Close the tab or delete its data to remove booking drafts.

Blocking or deleting technical storage may sign you out, lose form data or interrupt booking. Clearing browser data does not cancel an existing contract or itself erase records that must remain on our server. Contact us to cancel a transfer or exercise your rights.

9. Personal data and rights

Where these technologies process personal data, you may exercise access, rectification, erasure, restriction, objection and portability rights where applicable, and withdraw consent-based processing. The privacy policy explains legal bases, recipients, possible transfers and retention.

Send requests to info@sherrytransfer.com or the stated address. You may complain to Spain’s Data Protection Agency at www.aepd.es.
